I've been playing guitar for over 50 years and collecting and building for about 30. My first "real" guitar was a Gibson ES-125 I bought from a high school friend in 1968. My first amp was an Ampeg B-15 I bought from a high school friend - he was upgrading to a Gemini. At that point I learned that quality instruments are affordable and my search was over. I started gigging soon after that. Additional instruments I play are pedal steel, mandolin. Instruments repaired and set up are guitars, banjos, pedal steel guitars, and some amplifier repair. I also offer wood and metal shop services, CNC router, CAD, guitar re-binding, and finishing.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS WELCOME!!!
Hallo, folks, My name is Arthur Lumpkin, and I'm a retired English teacher (see, that's why my listings are so long). I have enjoyed singing and writing songs for the past 65 years, and therefore playing guitars--lots of guitars. Unfortunately, I sing better than I play, and I'm not terribly knowledgeable about the mechanics of guitars; I just like to play really cool guitars because they make me feel like I sound better. Maybe you know the feeling. At any rate, I currently have about 125 guitars, which means I constantly have to be selling guitars to make room for my wife and me in our "down-sized" home. And of course, the more I sell, the more guitars I can buy. That's where you (hopefully) come in. I particularly enjoy high quality vintage guitars, or guitars with some "experience;" I seem to relate to them better for some reason. They also sound better than new, and since most of them are gaining in value rather than depreciating, frequently they are pretty good investments if you're into such things. But I'm guessin' most of you are like me: you buy 'em 'cause you love 'em, and you cain't get enough of 'em. So come on in, and see if I have a friend for you to adopt and share with. And keep on playin.'

About Lane Comeaux, Owner I graduated with a masters degree from the University of Southern California in communications and management. A program that is ranked number one in the world in media and communications studies. I also graduated from a private top 75 University with two degrees, one in public relations and one in advertising. The point is not necessarily the intellect but the discipline, consistency, grit, sacrifice, hard work, competitiveness, and integrity that were necessary to complete these credentials. I’ve also been a guitar player for exactly 25 years. I’m a player first but also relate to you as an investor and collector. At eleven years old I became enthralled with the guitar. And a voracious reader of serious guitar books and had a plethora of them (along with magazines) canvassing the house. Each year I literally wore out to the point of falling apart- 2-3 copies of the big Fender Frontline catalogue. I understand your passion because I have it too. Dying Breed Guitars aims to be the quintessential broker, advisor, concierge, and expert regarding buying and selling pre World War II acoustic and pre 1965 American electric guitars. We seek to utilize the highest level service, marketing acumen, work and personal ethics to ensure our curated customers are ecstatic not only with their purchases but also with Dying Breed Guitars. We will always hold ourselves to the highest standards of humility, respect, courtesy, and transparency. Simply we will go to any lengths to be fair and honest to all sides and treat all involved in our business as human beings and not transactions. In doing so we will become the premier provider and confidant in the premium vintage guitar space. We have more than 215,000 views each week on our website. Which of course is more than 800,000 per month and actually more than 10 million visitors per year! We have more followers on Facebook than any exclusively vintage dealer in America. We pride ourselves on playing the online game as well as anyone. As a guitar owner and consigner what that means for you is a consistent audience of actual buyers- studio musicians, rock stars, investors, studio owners, songwriters, museums, historians, and more. We have cultivated this over 11 years and no one works harder at it. While working here I took two years of full time study at the University of Southern California to earn a masters degree in communications, marketing, and management from the number one ranked communications and media school in America. Again what this means for you- obviously I’m not the best at every facet of the vintage guitar world. But when it comes to the marketing aspect- I want no one to do it better. At Dying Breed Music you will always be treated with dignity, respect, courtesy, and humility. And you have my word- no one will work harder for all sides. Never hesitate to contact us through any medium.
