Premier Guitar calls this Taylor GS Mini Mahogany the 'new Parlor guitar for the 21st century' and rightfully so—this acoustic has really made folks take notice since its debut. Taylor has created a very playable, full size feeling acoustic that delivers real tone—all in a durable and portable size. The body depth is over an inch deeper than the Baby Taylor and the scale length is 3/4" longer—the tonal difference is clear once you strum it. Or just pick it up and feel the difference. This is a well-made instrument with a solid Mahogany top and durable Sapele (a cousin of Mahogany) laminate back and sides. Nice details are here too with an Ebony fretboard on a Sapele NT neck, an Ebony bridge, and the same tuners, nut and saddle materials that are used on full-sized Taylors. No skimping here, this Taylor GS Mini Mahogany even comes with a hybrid type gig bag.
