K-Line Guitars - 2013 Springfield Strat - Used

Description

The used 2013 Springfield by K-Line Guitars is a vintage inspired build with '50s mojo at an attractive price. Hailing from St. Louis, MO, Chris Kroenlein has been hand selecting woods since '95 with his exact specifications of dryness and resonance. This Springfield Strat is no exception, with an extremely resonant build and plenty of snap acoustically.

The medium U-style neck features a substantial profile, but a 10" radius fingerboard for a bit more modern comfort. Featuring a trio of Lollar Dirty Blonde pickups, these have all that woody goodness and smoothness to the highs and scooped mids that vintage single coils are renowned for. The slightly-checked nitro finish and aged plastic & hardware cap off this build's vintage vibe spectacularly.

The hallmark of Chris' improvements is to the neck pocket angle, allowing for better intonation and tone and resulting in a better break angle and smoother operation of the tremolo system. It's arrived to us in Very Good condition, with the aging kept subtle and any road wear minimal, with a few dents to the finish from wear over time. This is a more affordable US-made build for players needing a strat with classic sensibilities but also modern attention to detail and fine tuning. Includes a hardshell case.
