Based on a rare fuzz circuit, largely unknown, the Coyote Octave Fuzz delivers a unique fuzz sound. JHS has thoughtfully and thoroughly recreated the elusive Moonrock Fuzz by G.S. Wyllie, a fuzz with three distinct zones: Swell, Fuzz, and Octave. The original work by Glenn was rare but appeared on several records by artists such as Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, David Byrne, Joan Baez, and many more. The sounds are entirely unique, with a very interesting interplay when the volume knob is rolled back or pushed hard. The octave is particularly interesting, with a very Hendrix-flavor to it while giving that extremely dynamic feel.
