Iris Guitars - RCM-000 - 12-Fret - Dark Burst - Black Locust
Description
This RCM-000 12 Fret, from Burlington, Vermont natives Iris Guitars, is a powerhouse of a guitar with exceptional responsiveness and detail. Featuring a torrefied Sitka top, the tones are certainly filled with warmth and depth, but an added springiness and brightness is lended by the Black Locust back and sides. Clarity is what you will notice the second you strum on this guitar. Black Locust wood has lots of fundamental strength, and with its abundance in North America it's a very sustainable tone wood found right here at home.
Finished in a classic '30s style satin dark burst, this guitar exudes Depression-era character, an Iris specialty. The responsive sound, neck profile, and 1 11/16" nut width make for a guitar that doesn't fight you, letting your sound effortlessly translate into and inspire your playing. Comes with a TKL Hardshell case and a free Mass Street setup from our crew of luthiers.
