Description

This DF Natural, here with Ivoroid binding, is a slope-shouldered dreadnought hand-built by a small team of luthiers with boutique guitar experience. Featuring a Solid Spruce top, paired with a Mahogany back and sides, the DF sports a pair of scalloped tone bars, and is a fantastic nod to vintage-style slope-shoulders while maintaining it's own identity, both sonically and visually.


Named after luthier Dale Fairbanks, he and the team at Iris have meticulously crafted this DF to handle digging in with a flatpick, while staying lightly-built to handle finger-style well also. Warm and articulate tones abound, with plenty of volume thanks to the notably light build and custom voicing. The large pickguard here is a striking look that is reminiscent of mid-to-late-50s guards and blends perfectly with the natural toner in the finish. Includes a free Mass Street Music setup from our crew of luthiers and a TKL hardshell case.
