The Blue-Violet Caprid OG is a beast of a fuzz, hailing from the classic halls of 70s-era Muff circuits, specifically the famed Violet-era Ram's head muffs. The sound of this pedal is an amazing representation of what a fuzz should sound like. Sustain that sings and resonates, rich, detailed top and low end, with that signature scoop in the mids that muffs are known for, though the violet muffs had a smoother, gentler scoop that doesn't get buried in the mix and retains that creamy tone. This also has a slightly more aggressive tone than their venerable original Caprid OG, allowing users familiar with Wren and Cuff's work to attain that higher gain tone that has found fame in particular with David Gilmour on records like Pink Floyd's Animals or The Wall.
