Pisgah Banjos - 12" Woodchuck
Description
This Pisgah Banjos - 12" Woodchuck is a quality open-back at a great price. Hand-made in Asheville, NC with native hardwoods this 12" features an Ash rim and Walnut neck, paired with a classic rolled brass tone ring. This combination gives the Woodchuck a rounder, more full sound thanks to the larger pot, while delivering plenty of volume and sustain thanks to the rolled brass. Here in a 25.5" scale length, slightly shorter than banjo standard, makes for a comfortable player with a bit less string tension aiding that more mellow tone. The recessed truss rod cover is attached via internal magnets making truss rod adjustment covert and a breeze. Includes a Pisgah branded Access Stage One gig bag.
