This short scale Pisgah Banjos - 12” Tubaphone is the Asheville, NC builder's nod to the legendary Vega Tubaphone model. Hand-made with native hardwoods. this 12" features a Maple rim and neck, paired with a made in house Tubaphone tone ring which delivers volume and sustain while retaining a warm, big low-end - thanks in part to the larger 12" pot. Here in a 25.5" scale length, slightly shorter than banjo standard, makes for a comfortable player with a bit less string tension aiding that more mellow tone. Includes an Access Stage One gig bag.
