1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom Lefty Black

Description

Selling a Left Handed 1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom. I'm the second owner of this rare Guitar. This Guitar put the bread and butter on the table for a long time and shows signs of wear and tear as well as weather-checking, scratches and dings.
Switch tip is non original as well as the input Jack cover. The Nut and Frets (original frets were worn down to nothing), were replaced by Bill Asher in 2005 with 6150 Dunlop Size frets. The original frets as well as original Nut are included. The Guitar weighs 9lbs and therefore is very light for a Les Paul of this time period. No breaks, cracks or unwanted damage. The back of the headstock shows the Serial number only, no Made In the USA. Small Volute.
The solder inside the control cavity is unbroken and each pot reads 13769xx. The original Gold Lined Case is included and is in pretty good shape for it's age. All latches work perfect and the handle broke off years ago but is held on by 2 large Key Rings.
The original handwritten receipt is included as well. The Guitar was first bought in January of 1970 in Long Beach, CA. There are Schaller Strap Locks on the Guitar but the Guitar will ship with the original Strap Buttons attached.
We are open to serious offers.
