Guild Electric Guitars - 1976 Starfire IV - Cherry - Used
Description
Hailing from the venerable Westerly, Rhode Island factory, this 1976 Starfire IV Guild falls into that category of relatively more affordable vintage gear. This laminate mahogany build features the two original humbuckers that sound deep and warm, perfect for pushing an amp into blues territory, or backing off the tone for a jazz darkness. The laminate center block bucks feedback, allowing you to rip to your heart's content.
In Good condition, its 50 years have been relatively clean, only losing the pickguard in that time and acquiring some well-deserved playwear to the body. All original parts including the unique Guild tailpiece, make for a semi-hollow build that is sure to impress with its vintage mojo. Comes with a replacement Gretsch Hardshell Case.
