Collings Electric Guitars - 2009 I-35 - Crimson - Used

Here in a striking crimson finish, this 2009 I-35 hosts a rather unique combination of appointments and features that is sure to catch the eyes of onlookers. Constructed differently than your standard LC model, this I-35 sports a solid flamed maple top and solid mahogany back and sides that give this guitar plenty of rich mid-range, volume, and jangle acoustically which translates through when plugged in. The Lollar pickups deliver impressive clarity even when pushed, delivering great pick definition but also plenty of warmth. 

With the now classic Collings C-shape neck profile, and 1 11/16" nut width, this guitar feels familiar in the hand, comfortable in 1st position chords all the way up the neck for more complex voicings. For its age, this guitar is in Very Good condition, with the original hardware and just a few knicks and scratches to the body and headstock. Our repair shop had determined the nut slots were too low and have replaced the nut to bring it back to Collings standard setup and action. There's a misprint on the label that states this is a DLX model, however we have confirmed with Collings via the serial number that it is a standard I-35 build. Comes with a new replacement Collings case.
