D.A.M. Pedals - 1966 Tone Bender Replica - Used

Description

The used 1966 Tone Bender Replica from Differential Audio Manifestationz is their take on a faithful revival of the classic '66 era Tone Bender circuit. At its heart, the '66 features a pair of NOS germanium transistors which are gain selected and matched to deliver the singing sustain and raspy fuzz sought after from the originals. Sporting an attack and level knob, these two interact in special ways providing tones ranging from a gainier drive to a fizzy grit at the top.

Setting itself apart from other takes on this venerable circuit beyond premium components, D.A.M's take on the TB features a unique two position rotary tone switch that switches between the standard high end sizzle we know with the '66 mode, and a fuller, bassier growl with plenty more sustain when flipped to the Super Bee. Fleeting as a comet, these pedals are hard to come by and don't last long when they appear.
