Ibanez Electric Guitars - 1981 Artist AS200 - Used
Description
This 1981 Ibanez AS200 is a fantastic semi-hollow filled with versatility. Featuring two Super 58 humbuckers, these warm pickups are perfect for everything from jazz to rock. There is a bell-like quality in the bridge and a smoothness to the neck, which also features a Tri-Sound switch for the neck pickup alternating between Series, Single-coil, and Parallel for a variety of different situations. Here with a gorgeous tobacco burst over a flame maple body, which when combined with the gold hardware and aged ivoroid binding, gives it a striking vibe.
From the same year of Ibanez production as John Scofield's now iconic AS200, this archtop is here in Very Good condition sustaining just a few dents and marks to the finish, as well as some patina to the pickup covers. A great player with some serious archtop mojo and equally gorgeous tone. Includes the original hardshell case.
