Gibson Electric Guitars - 1978 ES-175D - Used
Description
This 1978 ES-175D is a late '70s Norlin-era jazzer with plenty of warmth and deep character. Two Gibson humbuckers provide that classic Gibson output and tone, and with the tone knob rolled back exude a hollow body-backed warmth. In Very Good condition, this guitar's got some history with several marks and dents over the body, neck, and headstock, yet still plays in impeccable condition.
Previously, an owner modded several parts in order to make this '70s hollow body lean into a more '50s-style sheen. Non-original parts include a '50s-style Rosewood bridge top, Grover tuners, and a set of mismatched replacement early '50s-style speed knobs with the rhythm volume being newer than the rest. The treble tone pot has also been replaced. A fantastic player's instrument for vintage vibes and archtop warmth. Comes with the original hardshell case.
