Gibson Electric Guitars - Custom Shop '65 Reissue Firebird VII - 2014 Used
Description
This used Firebird VII hails from the now legendary Gibson Custom shop, minted in 2014, and is based on a '60s legend oozing with character. Featuring vintage-inspired details such as the reversed headstock and body, aged hardware, classic Lyre tailpiece, distinct banjo tuners, Firebird pickups, along with a nitro sunburst finish over a 3-piece mahogany body with a neck-through design, this guitar nails that vintage look and delivers in the sound and playability department.
Here with reissued versions of the original Firebird pickups, these produce a warm output that's a touch pulled back from your standard humbucker, and a smooth midrange that's perfect for pushing an amp into slight breakup territory while retaining clarity and detail. This particular piece, here is in Very Good condition, has minor playwear along a touch of corrosion to the hardware, nothing that looks out of place on a vintage-inspired custom shop build. Pick this up for a true mid-60s-inspired rock machine with a unique vibe. Comes with the original Gibson hardshell case.
