Earthquaker Devices - Plumes - Small Signal Shredder

The Earthquaker Devices - Plumes is a new take on an old classic from the folks at Earthquaker Devices. Featuring an all-analog circuit, the Plumes does away with the traditional 4558 IC and BJT transistor buffers in favor of JFET opamp for more input impedance which results in lower noise, better signal integrity and more high-end chime. With 3 different clipping modes the Plumes delivers (1) Symmetrical LED clipping for more crunch and compression, (2) no clipping, for clean boost tones along with (3) Asymmetrical silicon diode clipping for a more transparent, blended sound that gives a warmer low-end response with lower output. With the newly redesigned tone control you get more bass when turned to the left, more mids at noon and more treble when dialed all the way to right.
