Featuring a new tone wood here at the shop, this Collings OM2H A T delivers a depth of tone that truly turned our collective heads. Here with an Adirondack top over Bois de Rose back and sides, this Traditional series Collings captures that rosewood sound, with a unique depth and clarity that makes it the perfect choice with this body size. There's a rich and robust low-end that is inspiring to explore, whether with a flatpick or fingerstyle. The high-end is dynamic and allows for a light touch, while still having the headroom from the Adirondack to drive the top and push for more. An incredibly versatile guitar that still feels like home. 

The custom nitrocellulose sunburst finish pairs perfectly with the purple hues of the Bois de Rose, and really shows off the artistry that Collings delivers. 

Sourcing quality tone woods for acoustic guitars is an ever-changing landscape, and with the standards set by the crew at Collings being so incredibly high it gave us the confidence to try something new. And wow, are we glad we did. Native to Madagascar, Bois de Rose shows just how promising alternative tone woods can be.

The Traditional Series is marked by a return to just that, traditional voicings and materials combined with the Collings exquisite attention to detail. This series is highlighted by traditional style bracing and tone woods which are adjusted, weighed and voiced to produce particularly warm, rounded highs while maintaining a full, rich low end. The extra thin Nitrocellulose lacquer finish, applied without a polyvinyl sealer, makes for a lively, expressive top that has the feel of a vintage guitar.

This Collings OM2H includes a free Mass Street setup from our team of luthiers, and the original hardshell case.
