Bourgeois Acoustic Guitars - Aged Tone Series - "The Champ" D - Adirondack
Description
This Bourgeois Guitars - 'The Champ' dread delivers a classic tonewood pairing with some of Bourgeois' advanced construction techniques. Featuring an upgraded Aged Tone Adirondack spruce top, Aged Tone Bracing and a Mahogany back and sides this dread has the sort of string response, focused low end and dynamic high end that we look for in a flatpicking guitar. Thanks to Bourgeois' asymmetrical bracing pattern, this build delivers a dry, even responsiveness across the instrument without becoming boomy in the bass.
This model has its origins at the Walnut Valley National Flat-Picking Championships, a place we know and love, and was dubbed 'The Champ' after being played by Luke Lovejoy to win first place at the 2018 competition. Includes a free setup from our team of luthiers and the hardshell case.
