Here's a reall cool project piece. This is an original late 1960s Vox Conqueror 2x12 speaker cabinet in excellent condition, complete with its original chrome side stand trolley — and it comes without speakers.

The Conqueror was introduced by Jennings Musical Industries in 1967 as part of their new solid-state range, positioned as the entry point into the Super Twin format — a separate head and cabinet configuration that gave players the visual and sonic presence of a full stack at a more manageable scale. The cabinet itself is a well-built 30" wide, 19" tall, 12" deep box in the correct vinyl covering with white piping, and this example has held up exceptionally well. The original grille cloth is intact — not torn, not replaced, the correct period cloth — which on a cabinet of this age is genuinely uncommon. The chrome side stand trolley with castors is present and complete, which is another detail that tends to disappear over the decades as cabinets get separated from their hardware.

The speakers are gone, removed at some point in this cabinet's history. The original internal wiring is intact. What that leaves you with here is a correct, well-preserved, original-grille Conqueror cabinet with intact wiring, ready to be loaded with whatever speakers suit your purpose — a pair of T1088s if you want period correctness, a pair of Celestion Blues or Golds if you want something more readily available, or any modern 12" driver that fits your rig.

The trolley alone is worth noting for display or studio use — this is a complete, presentable piece of late 60s British amp history that photographs beautifully and sounds like whatever you decide to put inside it.

There are a few holes through the sides of the cabinet - no telling why. The stand will be broken down for shipping and will require assembly on arrival.
