The Thomastik-Infeld JF344 Nickel Wound Steel Long Scale 34" Jazz Electric Bass Strings give you the best quality strings designed to bring out a vintage Jazz Bass tone with exceptional sensitivity. These round steel core strings vibrate freely, with true flatwound polished nickel surface construction that has a supple feel and no preferred motion axis. The unique silk inlay between windings enhances a warm, organic tone reminiscent of the Spirocore upright bass sound, but on an electric bass. Use this set for 4-string 34" scale length basses, with colored silk-wrapped ends that lock windings in place perfectly — gauged at .043-.100.
