2024 RS Guitar Works Slab Black Guard Road Warrior Blonde
Description
RS Guitar Works 2024 Slab Black Guard Road Warrior
The Slab Black Guard Road Warrior model is based on early 1950s Telecasters, with modern specifications.
RS Guitar Works was founded in the mid-1990s as a repair workshop specializing in vintage guitar restoration. Building on that experience, they now craft instruments featuring their own designs that preserve vintage aesthetics while enhancing playability, complemented by meticulous aging techniques.
Featuring a pine body, this instrument weighs a remarkably light 3.14kg. It has a “Road Warrior” finish, recreating the look of years of heavy playing: significant paint peeling on the body and fingerboard, dents, and weather checking. (Equivalent to Fender's “Heavy Relic” finish.)
The slightly thicker “63 C” neck shape features a 10" radius fingerboard and 6105 narrow-tall frets, prioritizing playability. The pickups are RS original NashVegas Sets, capacitors are RS Vintage Caps developed in-house, and pots are RS SUPER-POTS specially manufactured by CTS.
There is a slight amount of slack when loosening the 2nd and 5th string tuners, but this does not affect playability. The guitar is in excellent condition with no visible damage.
