Roland TR-808 Rhythm Composer

Here it is, what many would call the most famous drum machine of all time! The TR-808 is widely known as a driving force behind hip hop and countless electronic genres. Its unmistakable analog sounds have appeared on innumerable records and remain as relevant in contemporary music culture today as ever, though chances are you already know that.

Recently serviced by our in-house technician and given a clean bill of health.

This unit shows typical cosmetic wear consistent with age. The only notable issue is minor cosmetic deterioration and slight chipping to the plastic surrounds on a few of the individual level control knobs, purely cosmetic and does not affect performance.

The original serial tag was removed at some point prior to arriving at our shop; the reason is unknown.

Despite a few cosmetic issues, this machine is very clean overall and would be an excellent addition to any producer’s setup. Please see attached photos for further reference.
