1965 Rickenbacker 360/12st Prototype Fireglo

Extremely Rare, 1 of the earliest made in JAN. of 65. This is a prototype, Pre-Checkerboard binding and the larger and earlier Black non reflector knobs as well as a slightly larger and thicker neck not found on later checkerboard guitars. We at Voltage were Ric Historians and have had just about every Ric model made in the last 50 years and have had many of John Halls( Ric President) personal museum pieces but this is the only RIC 360/12 we have ever seen with these factory appointments. Like later models it does feature 2 toaster pu,s, white double tiered pickguard, Ric-O-Sound (Stereo input jack),Kluson tuners and crushed shark tooth inlays. This guitar is in very nice orig. condition other then having some minor belt buckle rash on the back of body. This is a serious guitar for any Ric collector/. Comes with orig. hardshell case. $9,500
