PRS 2018 Santana Retro 10Top
This is the 'Santana Retro', a model released in 2017 with specifications similar to those of the pre-factory era.
This guitar has a 10-top and hybrid parts options. It has a luxurious look, combining model-specific Santana features such as the Paula line on the body top, the abalone eagle inlay on the headstock and the rod cover featuring the OM symbol.
The main changes from previous Santana models are as follows:
- A deeper waist taper in the body shape
- A half-type cover on the tremolo cavity
- A slightly smaller, more angular neck heel
- A redesigned headstock shape and altered nut position
The 24.5-inch scale neck features a slightly thicker Santana-original shape that resembles a soft V, and the pickups include a custom “Santana” model on the neck and a “58/15TM” on the bridge.
There are a few minor scratches on the back and some scuff marks on the fingerboard around the 10th to 12th frets. However, there is no noticeable heavy wear, and considering its age, it remains in relatively clean condition.
