2017 Potvin / Epiphone '59 Epiphone Coronet Reissue Pelham Blue

I can't believe how amazing this guitar is . This is a Custom made 1959 Epiphone Coronet reissue , built by the talented luthier Michael Potvin , this is an exact replica of the very rare 1959 Epiphone Coronet. The measurements were taken from an original '59' Coronet , I was lucky enough to play a Cherry '59' Coronet that was just listed for $40,000 at OK Guitars and I must say this one rivals that one . With a 1 pc slab Mahogany body and a perfect 1959 profile neck this one is a dream to play , the pickup is an exact replica of the original , built by Curtis Novak it completely nails the tone of the 1959 with a P-90 vibe but with a smoother top end . The guitar has a beautifully aged Pelham Blue finish with a set of exact replica knobs and pickguard this one is a stand out . The guitar weighs in at 5 lbs 14 oz and is very acoustically resonant. The quality of this build is on par with any Gibson Custom Shop Jr. W/OHSC
