Paul Reed Smith PRS DGT Goldtop with Moon Inlays
Description
Presenting the Paul Reed Smith DGT, this one in the classic Goldtop Finish, with the original Moon Inlays. The DGT (David Grissom Trem) is the result of more than 20 years of collaboration between Paul Smith and David Grissom. The DGT is based on the McCarty with a unique DGT neck shape, taller frets, special pickups, and a revised control layout. Grissom and Paul spent a year A/B-ing more than forty sets of pickups before nailing the vintage-voice of DGT humbuckers. When paired with individual volume controls for each pickup and a push/pull master tone control that operates the coil taps, DGT pickups provide versatility and articulation. “The DGT is a product a lot of miles down the road: a lot of gigs, a lot of records. It’s like picking up a vintage guitar. It sounds like a vintage guitar, and out of the box it’s ready to go. There’s a whole lot of thought gone into this. The DGT is pretty perfect to me.” – David Grissom Photos are of one from our inventory, SN 0379702, individual body grain will vary from guitar to guitar BODY Body Construction: Solidbody Top Wood: Maple Back Wood: Mahogany Top Carve: Violin NECK Number of Frets: 22 Scale Length: 25" Neck Wood: Mahogany Neck Construction: One-Piece Truss Rod: PRS Double-Acting Neck Shape: DGT Neck Depth at the 1/2 Fret: 27/32" Neck Depth at the 12 1/2 Fret: 61/64" Neck Width at the Nut: 1 21/32" Neck Width at the Body: 2 7/32" Fretboard Wood: Rosewood Fretboard Radius: 10" Fretboard Inlay: Moons Headstock Logo: Signature, Decal NECK/BODY ASSEMBLY Neck/Body Assembly Type: Set FINISH Finish Type: High-Gloss Nitro HARDWARE Bridge: PRS Patented Tremolo, Gen III Tuners: Phase III with Faux-Bone Buttons Hardware Type: Nickel Nut: PRS Truss Rod Cover: "DGT" ELECTRONICS Treble Pickup: DGT Bass Pickup: DGT Controls: Two Volume Controls w/ Push/Pull Tone Control and 3-Way Toggle Pickup Switch ADDITIONAL INFO Strings: PRS Signature 11-49 (with a plain “G”) Tuning: Standard (6 String): E, A, D, G, B, E Case: Hardshell Case
