HOLD… This is a very rare and sold-out Martin Custom Shop D-28 1937 built with genuine Brazilian rosewood back and sides, and that alone puts it in special territory. Martin almost never offers Brazilian at this price point — typically reserving it for instruments that cost two to three times more — which makes this guitar an unusually strong value for a serious player or collector. The last similar offerings were nearly $40K map price for a Brazilian D-28 '37 Authentic.

Built with an Adirondack spruce top, authentic 1937 forward-shifted scalloped bracing, and hide-glue construction, it delivers the big, open, pre-war-style dreadnought tone that made these guitars legendary. The Stage 1 Aged vintage gloss finish gives it a lightly aged look without going over the top. Only 28 were made worldwide, making this a legitimately scarce Custom Shop Martin with real long-term appeal. Comes with the original ply hardshell case and is ready to play.
