We are pleased to offer this lovely late 40s D-28 in excellent condition. The guitar retains its beautifully aged original finish with no overspray present anywhere. Small, cleated crack through the rosette at the bottom of the fingerboard - an old repair. Otherwise, the top, sides and back are crack-free. Original bridge, pickguard and nut. Bridge pins appear original as well. New bridge saddle and setup by Hideo Kamamoto, The original bridge plate has been reinforced with another well cut and perfectly placed plate providing extra protection. Kluson tuners are newer reproductions. The neck is true and plays well all the way up with no buzzing and no need for a neck reset. There are a few capo marks on the back of the neck. The guitar was refreted at some point in the past. Complete with older, non-original hard case.
