Here’s a very nice 2002 Martin OMC-16WE, a USA-made cutaway Martin that offers a lot of quality and tone for the money. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid walnut back and sides, this model has a clear, balanced voice with excellent note separation and a strong fundamental. Walnut sits nicely between mahogany and rosewood tonally, making this a great all-around guitar for both fingerstyle and light strumming.
This example is very nice overall, showing only a few light dings and normal playwear you’d expect from a guitar that’s over 20 years old. Still very presentable and well cared for. It plays extremely well with comfortable action and sounds very good both acoustically and plugged in thanks to the Fishman Gold Plus Natural 1 pickup system. A solid, honest Martin that’s ready to be played.
Comes with the original hardshell case.
