Marshall SE100 Speaker Emulation System PAIR in Rack Case (Pre-Owned) (Joe Satriani Personal Collection)
Description
Marshall SE100 Speaker Emulation System PAIR in Rack Case (Pre-Owned) (Joe Satriani Personal Collection)
This is Classic Analog Stuff! No IRs, no USB port, no latency. Just lots of fat resistors, heavy chokes, and transformers to make a reactive load and shape the emulated signal in the style of a Marshall 4x12 Cabinet.
The Marshall SE100 is a rackmount 2U system with a 100-watt capacity that functions as a reactive load, 18dB attenuator, speaker emulator (with choice of closed-back or combo cabinets and 0-, 30-, or 60-degree mic angles), direct recording output (1/4 in. balanced/unbalanced, XLR), and headphone amplifier for silent practice or live-to-board mixing. It provides authentic feel and sound from a tube amp without needing a physical speaker.
The attenuation is -6dB, -12dB or -18dB. Which tames a 100W Marshall down to 25W, 6W or 1.5W. There's also the headphone output, but you may still have to have a dummy load attached for silent recording/practice. Simple to use with the schematic printed on the rear panel. Easy to set up.
This is an Artist Owned PAIR of Marshall SE 100s in Very Good Condition in a Tour Case from the Personal Collection of global guitar hero Joe Satriani.
