James Trussart Resonator - John Oates
Description
"Went to James's (Trussart) house and saw this body out in his backyard getting "aged"! I told him I needed it. He put a humbucker in neck and piezo pickup in disc which you can blend. Used it quite a bit in recordings and did a project with Bukovac and after I played the guitar many times, he said, 'OK, let me see this thing' and he took the guitar and played the part 100 time better than I did and recorded over my takes. It turns out he was using me as his 'pedal board bitch' to dial in the sound but he knew all along he wasn't going to use my playing. Ha!" - John Oates
