Fender Sam Ash Sunset Boulevard Stratocaster with Lace Sensor Pickups 1998 - Black

Description

Here we have a neat Fender Sam Ash Sunset Boulevard Strat from 1998! This model was introduced in 1995 with hundreds built each year in the late 90s for the Sam Ash chain.

Specs include a poplar body, maple neck, 9.5” radius, vintage fret wire and a 1.650” nut width. It has Standard tuners with stamped covers, and a Standard Series tremolo with adjustable cast saddles. The guard is white pearloid, it has black knobs, and the hardware is chrome.

This guitar would have come stock with American Standard single coil pickups, but it has been upgraded to Lace Sensor pickups, a popular mod back in the day. This guitar is in good condition and appears original otherwise. It has topical scratches and surface marks on the body, with more of it concentrated on the back. The backplate and neck plate show light scratches. There is light fret wear down low and the hardware shows some patina.

This one weighs 7lbs 9oz. The neck measures .820 to .880 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has a medium C neck that is pretty familiar if you’ve handled any late 90s to early 2000s Strats. We love the look of the black finish against the maple board and pearl guard. Plus the Lace Sensors are a nice addition, especially the hot Red one at the bridge!

This guitar ships in a Fender padded gig bag. There is no tremolo arm included.
