Gibson's 2000s era Les Paul 59 reissue guitars are something special, and the limited quantities of guitars with Brazilian Rosewood fingerboards are even better.
This example is in excellent, all-original condition. It is on the lighter side, weighing in at 8 pounds 6.5 ounces.
The top is beautiful - nicely flamed and vintage looking with a great fade to the sunburst.
The guitar set up perfectly with little effort. The truss rod is fully functional to allow for future neck relief adjustments.

There's no definitive number for the 1959 Les Paul reissues with Brazilian rosewood fretboards made in 2003. However, it's likely a limited production run, possibly in the range of a few hundred or less, produced by the Custom Shop in response to customer demand and availability of materials.
