Electronics: Original Fender single coil pickups withe grey bobbins; there is a 1965 date underneath the neck pickup cover. The lead circuit volume pot has been replaced, with the rest of the harness appearing original. The tone pot has a 1964 date.

Hardware: The bridge has been replaced with a Mustang bridge; the original has not been included.

Case Details:

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Fender Jazzmaster has aged nicely, with light chips, dings, and checking present on the glossy finish. There are areas of finish wear on the body revealing the silver undercoat, and the neck has some nicely worn areas.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action, and the narrow frets are low with mild play wear. The serial number and electronics date to 1964/1965; according to a prior Gruhn appraisal, the neck heel has a 1964 stamp.
