1937 D’Angelico Excel Sunburst

Fine sounding 1937 Excel by the great and original builder John D’Angelico. An in interesting late 30s example with 30s features and engraved blocks in the board, but one off the earliest curved f hole guitars . ( earlier the f holes were straight) . Rich tone. And excellent volume. Full neck shape, 17” wide body. This was originally owned by a professional player , so though well cared for , the neck wear is honest .repro pickguard, otherwise no cracks or repairs.
