Fender Custom Shop 2019 1959 Stratocaster Heavy Relic
This is a reissued "1959 Stratocaster Heavy Relic" model in Daphne Blue with Maple neck.
This model has a ”Heavy Checking" finish, which is the middle level between "Relic" and "Heavy Relic", and the paint is a little less stripped off than usual, but it has a lot of detailed weather checks. The back of the neck is the usual "Heavy Relic" with the paint stripped.
The neck is a slightly thicker 63 Strat style "C", and the fingerboard is 9.5R with narrow tall type frets for better playability.
The pickups are hand-wound "Fat 50s" signed "CG".
The wiring is "Vintage Mod. Wiring #2" with independent capacitor for bridge position.
Neck and rod are both in good condition.
