1980 Gibson Flying V "Center Two Piece Mahogany Body"
Description
A Flying V with a sunburst finish from 1980.
This was the final era of the two-piece mahogany body specification that had continued since its release. It is the model just before it was changed to a three-piece body.
It features the wonderful sound characteristic of late 70's mahogany V, with their signature sticky midrange.
There are signs that a Schaller tuner was once installed, but it has now been restored with original.
Frets, nut and Pickguard screws are replaced.
There is some minor wear, but overall it is in excellent condition, maintaining good shape.
