Description

By the looks of it, you’d think this 1966 Gibson ES-335TD was brand new from the custom shop! A few weeks ago, an original owner walked into our store to sell this beauty. He purchased the guitar new at the Sam Ash on Coney Island and took tremendous care of it for nearly 60 years. By his own account, he bought this guitar for a band he was in at school, though they only played a gig or two before breaking up, and he never played it again. As evidenced in photos, this guitar is in remarkable condition, with very little wear or aging, and it remains completely original. This guitar is marked as a factory second, likely due to a couple of slight irregularities in the grain pattern on the back of the body.
