Description

Here is a fun 1960s Vox Grand Prix Model V286. The Grand Prix was the Cadillac of the Vox guitar line boasting a list price in 1968 of $550. Built on an ES-175 inspired archtop body construction the built in electronics are what takes this guitar to the next level. On board Treble/Bass Boost, Distortion, Repeater, and Wah Wah effects make this guitar too much fun to experiment with. Cherry Finish, Dual Pickups, and Ebony Fingerboard. Very Good Vintage Condition with some nicks, dings, and finish checking. The Original pickguard has shrunken as they typically do. The padded cushion back is intact but missing the back cover plate, a newer 9 volt patch installed in the past, and missing wah wah paddle arm. The Treble/Bass boost is working intermittently but the other effects are in working order. Included is the Original Hardshell Case. A hard to find 1960s Vox Guitar.
