~1933 Vivi-Tone Lloyd Loar Sunburst

Here's a Lloyd Loar Vivi-Tone in Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the guitar features mostly original parts, with the exception of just the bridge. It's fully acoustic, without a pickup. You can see it has the original outptut jack on the side, but they never made this one with the pickup. The sticker on the inside is long gone, but by appointments, the guitar was likely made around 1933/34. It features a Cremona Brown Sunburst varnish finish, spruce top and back, maple sides, mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, along with recessed back, with two “F” shaped sound holes. It measures 13″ wide across the lower bout, and features a 14 fret neck, with 24.25″ scale. There's one professionally repaired crak on the back, that is now structurally sound. The neck has a full feeling V profile and actually plays great! The action is low and comfortable down the length of the fretboard. The guitar has a super cool tone as well. Good volume, while sounding very open and full. The open F holes lend itself to such a unique sound. Truly a piece of history for guitar making in the 20th century. HSC included..
