Description

* Ancient Sycamore Back and Sides
* Rare Version of the H Model
* Fourteen Frets / Long Scale
* Sherlter BlueStick Pickup Installed
Santa Cruz has had a major success with their H model, a Gibson Nick Lucas inspired 13-fret, 14 ¾" deep-bodied model developed through their association with the late Paul Hostetter, thus the H model designation. This HS is a rare version that is fourteen frets-to-the-body and a standard depth. I've never agreed with the deeper body concept and thus feel this version to be a superior design. The back and sides of this unique guitar are from an ancient Sycamore log that had been buried for centuries and uncovered in the Santa Cruz earthquake, with a grain pattern that is a kaleidoscope of fine grain lines with a chatoyance that imparts a dramatic 3-D effect. The guitar is in almost like-new condition.
