Ritter R8-Concept 4-String Bass 2020 - Screaming Yellow

Description

Here we have a true work of art from Jens Ritter, an R8-Concept in Screaming Yellow! This unique build features a 32” scale length and a frosted finish.

Other specs include an alder body, maple neck, ebony fingerboard, ebony ramp, ebony bridge, white gold dot inlays, set neck construction, and a 1.5” nut width. It utilizes the Ritter BA tuning system for a clean frontal look, where the strings mount at the back of the headstock and are tuned at the back of the body. It has a single Ritter Master Slimbucker pickup, and also sports Piezo bridge saddles. The signal is direct out via the backplate. The backplate also features a tone trimpot and on/off switches for each pickup.

The bass is in excellent condition. It’s a case queen that shows a few faint marks from handling when inspected closely, but really appears to be unplayed overall.

It weighs in at 7lbs 8oz. The neck measures .840 to .970 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has a full, rounded C profile that is quite comfortable. The bass is lightweight, well-balanced and wonderfully built. It has slinky feel with dynamic string response from the 32” scale. It has a really open, mid-range attack sound off the body, but still produces a classic electric bass tone, melding both form and function.

Ships in the original flight case and includes the COA booklet, strap locks, tools and pouch.
