1933 Martin Style 15 shaded top

Description

Introduced in 1929, the Style 15 mandolin along with the Style 20 (2-point) were the first carved top instruments made by the C.F. Martin company. They had oval holes and beautifully flamed maple backs and sides, and were very fine sounding instruments. This example with its brown shaded top finish is quite rare and in very excellent original condition with a straight neck and very little fret wear. Comes with original hard case and certificate of provenance, signed by me.
