Hardware: The bridge, saddle, and tuners are replaced. There is a small shim under the nut.

Modifications / Repairs: The neck has been refretted, and the nut has a shim underneath. The tuners are replaced; there are mahogany plugs visible from the headstock slots from previous larger tuner shafts. The bridge has been replaced, as has the saddle. There are several crack repairs throughout the body, many of which have been touched up. A few braces have been reglued.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Martin acoustic guitar shows plenty of aging and wear, with checking, dings, and marks throughout. The back of the body has several repaired cracks, which show signs of being sanded and touched up. The back of the neck is smooth, with some light finger wear on the fretboard.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action, and the frets show light play wear. The serial number dates the guitar to 1949.
