James Tyler 2014 Studio Elite Full Option QMT
This “Studio Elite” model features a superb quilted maple top, finished with the beautiful “Jim Burst” signature of James Tyler.
The body back is made of ribbed (chambered) mamywo, making it extremely lightweight at 3.04 kg.
The following modifications have been made:
・Wiring has been re-routed
・The mini-switches for each pickup have been changed to tap/series (in-line)
・The coil protection tape on the neck dummy coil has been removed, and the soldering has been redone
・The bridge saddles, pickguard, backplate, and strap pins have been replaced
・The battery compartment has been replaced, and a cover made of the same pearloid same as the back panel has been added
・The tuners have been replaced with Gotoh Magnum Locks, and there are marks where the holes were filled
There are multiple fine scratches on the body top and back, two tiny pockmarks near the jack plate on the body side, stand marks at the base of the headstock, and a dent at the tip of the headstock.
Over 80% of the frets are intact, and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition, providing excellent playability.
