1984 Hamer SS1 Steve Stevens Prototype USA Red

Here's a 1984 Hamer Steve Stevens SS1 Prototype Model made in USA. Earliest example of the model, that would eventually be named the Steve Stevens 1 signature model. This one still doesn't have his signature on the headstock! The setup of the guitar is humbucker, single coil, single coil, with a 3-way toggle switch & 2-way mini switch for coil tapping the humbucker. The two single coils are Hamer pickups, while the bridge humbucker is a Seymour Duncan. There's one visible pot date, which dates to 1984. The neck has a medium profile, and plays fantastic! Fast playing low action. Frets have good life left as well. The original Floyd Rose locking tremolo works like a charm. Really cool piece of Hamer history here. OHSC!
