Gretsch G6120TM Chet Atkins Nashville Hollow Body Tiger Maple 2009 - Orange Stain

Description

Here we have a 2009 Gretsch G6120TM Chet Atkins “Tiger Maple” electric guitar! This one features a flame maple body and is in very good condition.

Specs include a hollow laminate body, 3-piece maple neck, ebony fingerboard, Neo Classic thumbnail inlays, matching flame maple headstock veneer, and gold hardware. It has a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, gold plexi guard, and dual Filter’Tron pickups. The body is 16” wide, the nut width is 1 11/16”, and the scale length is 24.6”.

This guitar has a Melita Synchro-Sonic bridge added, though the original bridge is included. It also has had the tone selector switch removed, and instead has a stacked tone knob to control the tone for each pickup independently. The guitar is in great shape with light surface marks and signs of use. There is a little patina on the gold hardware too, but no real damage and no issues.

This one weighs 7lbs 6oz. The neck measures .810 to .910 at the 1st and 9th frets. It has an oval C neck profile with a subtle vintage apex. The guitar has an excellent feel and really plays great in every way. We love the tone knob option, plus it’s hard to hate a flame maple body!

Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the original bridge and bridge base. The selector switch is not included.
