Electronics: Original electronics. The guitar has two single coil pickups, a three-way selector switch, a master volume pot, two pickup volume pots, and a master tone pot. The visible pot code dates to 1953.

Pickup Measurements: neck - 16.3 kΩ, bridge - 16.5 kΩ

Hardware: The neck has been refretted and the nut has been replaced. All other hardware is original.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gretsch guitar has aged well and is in good condition. The finish is glossy with light surface scratching and some shallow dings and scratches throughout. The back of the body shows some buckle rash. The face of the headstock shows some light finish checking.

Modifications/Repairs: The neck has been refretted and the nut has been replaced.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are medium with minimal play wear. The serial number is scratched into the control plate, but the internal label is missing. By appointments, we are dating this guitar to 1955.
