1967 Gretsch Songbird (Sam Goody) – Sunburst
Description
This is our gorgeous 1967 Gretsch Songbird in Sunburst! Only about 200 of these were made in ’67 by Gretsch for Sam Goody, a once dominant music retailer. The Songbird was essentially the same guitar as the Gretsch Rally, though with some minor changes to the visual design. The most obvious changes are the āGā shaped soundholes, which look too cool! The overall guitar is in great shape, with the finish itself in great condition. There is a small but stable crack just above the bass āGā soundhole.
Overall Condition: 8.5, finish looks great with very mild wear and some binding shrinkage (very common on Gretsches of the era)
